City of Petersburg Government Offices Closed for Memorial Day
Petersburg, VA: Petersburg City government offices will be closed on Monday, May 27th in observance of Memorial Day.
Closed offices include: City Hall, City Hall Annex, Parks & Leisure Services, Blandford Cemetery Records Office, Petersburg Public Library, Petersburg Area Transit (PAT) Administrative Offices and Customer Service, and the Greyhound Office.
Petersburg Freedom Support Center will close at 12:00pm on Friday, May 24th, and reopen on Tuesday, May 28th at 8:30am.
PAT Bus service (including Para-Transit) will not operate on Monday, May 27th.
Dogwood Trace Golf Course will remain open on Monday, May 27th from 7:30am – 6:30pm.
Central Virginia Waste Management Authority (CVWMA) residential recycling and trash collections will be delayed one day during the week of May 27-31. No collections will be made on Monday (May 27th); thus, all collections during this week will occur on the day following the normal collection day. Friday collections will occur on Saturday.
