City of Petersburg Offices Closed in Observance of Memorial Day
Petersburg, Va. (May 25, 2017) – City government offices, Petersburg Freedom Support Center, and Petersburg City Public library will be closed on Monday, May 29, 2017 in observance of Memorial Day. Petersburg Area Transit Administrative Office will be closed and buses will not run. All offices will reopen at normal business hours on Tuesday, May 30, 2017.
Dogwood Trace Golf Course will operate 7:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. The Blandford Church and Reception Center will be open Monday, May 29 from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. and Centre Hill Mansion Museum will be closed.
Central Virginia Waste Management Authority (CVWMA) residential recycling and trash collections will be delayed one day. No collections will be made on Monday. All collections during this week will occur on the day following the normal collection day. For more information on City services and schedules please visit www.petersburgva.gov.
