WHAT: Restoration Ceremony for South Side Depot
WHEN: Monday, January 12, 2015 at noon
WHERE: South Side Depot (Station) River Street Petersburg, VA 23803
Background: The National Park Service, Virginia Department of Transportation, the Department of Historical Resources and the Civil War Trust will join City officials on Monday, January 12 for a restoration ceremony of the historic South Side Depot. Once restoration of the building is complete, the National Park Service will be creating and staffing a visitor contact station.
