The Petersburg Library Foundation along with Signature Sponsors Bon Secours, Enteros Design, and Rosyln Farm Corporation will host a special Gala to celebrate 100 years of the Petersburg Public Library on November 7. On this very date in 1960, the Petersburg Public Library was reopened, the first municipally operated facility in Petersburg to be desegregated.
