The Petersburg Department of Public Works Street Operations is traveling through the community, aggressively attacking the issue of potholes. Wards 4, 5, & 6 have been completed and the team is currently tackling Wards 2 & 7 through April 12, weather permitting. Wards 1 & 3 will be done between April 15 - 19.
RESIDENT ENGAGEMENT IS THE MOST IMPORTANT PART OF THIS CAMPAIGN. If you see a pothole, take note of the street name and landmarks. If possible, take a picture and report it to the city as our goal is to dedicate the necessary time and resources to ensure the safety of our streets.
