[ARCHIVED] Triad S.A.L.T. Council Meeting

City of Petersburg Sheriff, Vanessa R. Crawford extends to the citizens of Petersburg, an invitation to attend the first monthly Triad S.A.L.T. Council meeting since the COVID 19 virus on Tuesday, July 28, 2020 at 11:00 a.m. at the Petersburg Sports Complex on Birdsong Road in Petersburg, Va.

Join Petersburg Registrar, Dawn Williams, to share information about upcoming election rules and a Department of Health representative to present Petersburg COVID 19 updates, as well as, reminders on how to stay safe and healthy.

This is a drive in meeting.  Everyone will be asked to stay in their vehicle. You will be able to hear through a radio frequency in your vehicle (given upon arrival) or through speakers.

We also ask that you bring any old or expired medication for proper disposal.

The Triad S.A.L.T. Councils (Seniors and Law Enforcement Together) are busy year-round, building crime-fighting relationships between older citizens and their local law enforcement representatives. They are discovering new ways of enhancing the lives of those who have already given much to help their children and grandchildren grow and prosper.

Bring a friend and join us in helping to continue to provide resources for our senior citizens in helping them to stay safe and live healthy.

For further information, contact Sheriff Vanessa R. Crawford at 733-2369 in the Petersburg Sheriff’s Office.
