Posted on: October 9, 2019[ARCHIVED] Petersburg City Government Offices Closed on October 14th
Petersburg City government offices will be closed on Monday, October 14, 2019 in observance of the Columbus Day holiday.
Closed offices include: City Hall, City Hall Annex, Parks & Leisure Services, Blandford Cemetery Records Office, Petersburg Public Library, Petersburg Area Transit Administrative Offices and Customer Service, and Petersburg Freedom Support Center.
Offices will reopen during normal business hours on Tuesday, October 15, 2019.
Dogwood Trace Golf Course will remain open during normal business hours on Monday, October 14th. Petersburg Area Transit bus service, including Para-Transit and Greyhound, will still operate on Monday, October 14th.
CVWMA residential recycling and residential trash collections will continue as regularly scheduled for the Columbus Day (October14) holiday. There will be no holiday delay for residential recycling the week of October 14-18. All RED WEEK residential recyclers should place their recycling container(s) out for pickup by 7 am on their regularly scheduled collection day.
