Residents are invited to attend a Petersburg East Ward Meeting hosted by Councilman Marlow Jones, focused on new programs and resources for Petersburg East.
Councilman Jones will present a new community boxing program, with on-site sign-ups for adults and youth residents, with plans to begin Saturday morning sessions. He will also reintroduce a proposed Personal Care Aide (PCA) certification program, offering parents and residents the opportunity to train and become certified locally.
The meeting will include voter registration, rights restoration assistance, Legal Aid information, and representatives from Social Services, Police, Parks and Recreation, and Public Works. Residents will also receive guidance on how to submit concerns and complaints specific to Petersburg East.
