City of Petersburg Government Offices Closed Due to Storm
The City of Petersburg Government offices will be closed on Monday, January 26, due to the storm and freezing temperatures.
Non-essential employees will work from home. Essential employees should report to work. City employees unsure of their status should contact their supervisor or department head for clarification.
Service Updates:
No Transit (Bus) Services will operate on Monday.
Petersburg Courts will be closed on Monday, and there will be no Circuit Court jury trials on Tuesday, January 27.
Public Safety Reminder:
The City urges citizens to stay off the roads to allow road crews to clear and treat streets effectively. Residents are also encouraged to use off-street parking.

Poor road conditions or fallen trees blocking roads: Contact the Petersburg Bureau of Police NON-EMERGENCY LINE at (804) 732-4222.
Power outages: Report to Dominion Energy at 1-866-366-4357.
