City of Petersburg Government Offices Closed in Observance of Indigenous Peoples’/Columbus/Yorktown Victory Day
Petersburg City government offices will be closed on Monday, October 13, 2025, in observance of the holiday. Offices will reopen during normal business hours on Tuesday, October 14.
Petersburg Area Transit bus service, including Paratransit and Greyhound, will operate on October 13.

CVWMA residential recycling and Meridian Waste trash collections will continue as regularly scheduled for the holiday. There will be no delay for the week.
