Petersburg City government offices will be closed on Friday, July 4, in observance of Independence Day. All City offices will reopen on Monday, July 7, at normal hours of operation.
Petersburg Area Transit (PAT) will be closed on Friday, July 4. Transit will reopen on Saturday, July 5, for bus operations.
The City swimming pool on Farmer Street will remain open on July 4 & 5.
Petersburg Circuit Court and the Circuit Court Clerk’s Office will be closed on Friday, July 4. The Courts and Clerk’s Office will reopen on Monday, July 7, at normal hours.
Dogwood Trace Golf Course will be open on July 4. Visit www.dogwoodtracegolf.com to book a tee time.
There will be no change in schedule for Meridian Waste Trash collection and CVWMA Recycling collection during the week of Fourth of July. Friday collections will be picked up as usual.
Plan to enjoy the Fireworks at Petersburg Harbor in Old Towne on Thursday, July 3. Festivities, including music and food trucks, begin at 4:00 pm, and the fireworks are scheduled for 9:15 pm. The Petersburg Harbor is located off River Street and Joseph Jenkins Roberts Parkway.
