City of Petersburg Government Offices Closed for Juneteenth
Petersburg City government offices will be closed on Thursday, June 19, 2025, in observance of the Juneteenth holiday. Offices will reopen during normal business hours on Friday, June 20.
Petersburg Area Transit Administrative offices and bus service (including Paratransit) will also be closed.
The Farmer Street Pool will be open on Thursday, June 19, from 12:00 pm – 6:00 pm. The pool closes for a staff break from 3:00 – 4:00 pm. Admission is free.
Dogwood Trace Golf Course will remain open on Juneteenth during normal business hours.
All Meridian Waste and CVWMA trash and recycling collections will be on a regular schedule during the week of Juneteenth.
