Notice of 4th Ward Meeting
Petersburg City Councilman Charlie Cuthbert will hold a 4th Ward meeting Monday September 23, 2024, beginning at 5:30 p.m., in the Larry Tucker Community Room of the Petersburg YMCA, 120 North Madison Street, Petersburg, Virginia.
The focus of the meeting will be on an update by City staff as to the status of the process for determining the design of a new courthouse complex and the selection of a company to build it, on additional steps the City can take to improve the health of Petersburg citizens, on an update as to the efforts by City staff to keep vegetation under control on City-owned land, on efforts by City staff to discourage speeding in the 1600, 1700, and 1800 blocks of South Crater Road, and on any other matters of local government concern that those attending would like to discuss. Representatives of the City Manager's Office, the Petersburg Police Department, the Department of Public Works, and Code Enforcement have been invited to attend to address issues and to answer questions.
This meeting is open to all citizens and property owners in Petersburg, regardless of Ward.
