ROAD CLOSURE

Sycamore Street between Washington and Wythe Streets will be closed Wednesday from 8:00 am to 1:00 pm for tree-cutting. The trees have become too large and are damaging the sidewalks, curbs and some of the storefronts. The City is working with an arborist to remove the trees and replace them with a “street tree” species that has an appropriate root system and canopy shape for the streetscape.
