VDOT Closure - May 14, 2020

Weather permitting, The Virginia Department of Transportation (VDOT) will close
Interstate 95 north Exit 51, which provides access to Interstate 85 south, on Thursday, May 14, from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m. The closure will also affect Rt. 460 west traffic needing to access I-85.

A detour will be in place. Drivers needing to access I-85
south can take I-95 Exit 53 (Southpark Blvd. in Colonial
Heights) to the traffic signal, then make a left turn, which
will take them to the I-95 south ramp, which leads back
to I-85 south.

The closure is due to roadside lighting work. The project
was originally scheduled for May 11.
