Quality Circle for a Healthy Community
Welcome to the City of Petersburg's Link to the Quality Circle for a Healthy Community. The City's Leadership is committed to creating a healthier community in Petersburg for people who live, work, recreate, and visit our City. The Quality Circle for a Healthy Community is currently comprised of city department leaders and staff, Crater Health District leadership, and Petersburg Public School representatives, working creatively and collaboratively to address some of the challenging health issues in our City.
Our goals are to 1) Promote healthy lifestyles among employees and residents; 2) Promote physical activity among employees, residents and guests, and 3) Improve the physical environment to promote health and wellness. At this Link, you may access health tips, a calendar of events to promote physical and healthy well being in the city, and a host of helpful and engaging information.
We hope to improve the overall health status of our residents and city employees. We know that it's an ongoing process to not only sustain control over one's health, but to improve it as well. We hope this Link is a vehicle that moves us all closer to improving our health.
