HOURLY RATE: $10.12 LOCATION: Risk Management STATUS: Temporary/Part-Time CLOSING DATE: July 23, 2010 | |||
DUTIES: Performs responsible technical and difficult clerical work in the administration of a City-wide risk management program; does related work as required. KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES: General knowledge of insurance claims processing; some knowledge of laws pertaining to workman's compensation and other insurances; ability to prepare detailed reports; ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing; ability to maintain and establish effective working relationships with others. QUALIFICATIONS: Any combination of education and experience equivalent to graduation from high school supplemented by college course work in business administration or related field and extensive, increasingly responsible clerical experience. Previous experience in the insurance industry, an agency or claims office preferred. SPECIAL NOTICE: Final applicants will be required to submit to a criminal history check.
