DUTIES: Performs responsible skilled and technical work planning, coordinating and supervising the technical operations of the Police Records Division; does related work as required. Work is performed under regular supervision of the Information Technology Manager. Supervision is exercised over subordinate personnel. QUALIFICATIONS: Any combination of education and experience equivalent to an Associates Degree or graduation from an accredited two-year technical school with major course work in Computer Science/Information Systems/Networking, and some experience in public safety records and identification management preferred. Cisco CCNA training required with the ability to pass the CCNA Certification within six months of hire. Router and switch administration experience required, with concentration on Cisco devices. Firewall application administration experience required, with concentration on Check Point and Pix devices, and experience with wireless access devices and security.
