DUTIES: Performs responsible professional work assisting in the supervision of City owned swimming pools to assure health, safety and enjoyment of the swimmer; does related work as required. QUALIFICATIONS: Any combination of education and experience equivalent to graduation from high school and some experience as a lifeguard. SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS: Possession of a current Red Cross Senior Water Safety Instructor's Certificate and/or Senior Life Saving Certificate with current CPR for the Professional Rescuer training. Must work all weekends and holidays. SPECIAL NOTICES: Final applicants will be required to submit to a criminal history investigation and submit to urinalysis screening for illegal drug use.
