Old Towne Visitor Center
Located at 19 Bollingbrook Street in historic Old Towne Petersburg, the visitor center is currently housed in the historic Farmers’ Bank. Built in 1817, the building served as a bank until 1866 and is now owned by Preservation Virginia. Come see where parts of the popular Mercy Street series on PBS were filmed!

Hours: Starting April 1, 2016:
            Open 9:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. Monday through Saturday
           Sunday - Open 1 p.m. - 5:00 p.m.

Center Staff
Staff is available to offer assistance with planning an itinerary for your Petersburg visit. Brochures on regional attractions and a gift shop are also located on site.

Carson Visitor Center
Open 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. daily.
For the convenience of motorists traveling north on I-95, the city operates a second visitor center at the Carson Rest Area located at mile marker 37. Staff is available to answer questions regarding attractions, lodging, and dining in the greater Petersburg area.
