The Human Resources Department exists to support the city in it mission by providing courteous and effective human resources services to employees, city administration, other departments, and citizens. We review and revise policies and procedures to enhance the efficiency of operations.

• Foster a pay/classification plan that promotes advancement, allows more flexibility for movement between classes based on skill development, and allows managers flexibility in providing incentives and awards.

• Maintain accurate personnel records and make requisite reports regarding city employment levels.
